Please contact the Department of Housing and Community Development at www.dhcd.dc.gov regarding the availability of such units and requirements for registration in the Inclusionary Zoning program.

Your application must also be fully completed to be eligible for a waiting list placement. 
Income restrictions apply for all of our affordable apartments.

The minimum income standard (non-subsidized homes) is based on gross monthly household income which is at least 2.5x the monthly rent. 


Glossary:
AMI - Area Median Income - is the middle income for a particular area, considering all incomes of households in that region. It is often used as a benchmark to determine eligibility for affordable housing programs.
LIHTC - Low Income Housing Tax Credit - a program in the United States that encourages the development of affordable rental housing for individuals and families with low incomes.
